Personal Pages

During the last several years I took it upon myself to keep up with the growing trends, and have developed web design and internet related skills. I have applied these skills to my hobbies and interests in the field of nature, and brought the field to virual reality in the form of web sites and message forums.

My most popular site, the Ontario Birding Home Page, has had close to 300,000 hits, since its inception in December 1995.

The New URL is www.web-nat.com/bic/ont/

The success of this website would not be possible, if it were not for the birders that provide reports and other content ... and many hours of work on my part! Thank you all for your contributions! Your support is most appreciated!

The Birding in Canada network of web sites, has had about 150,000 visitors since its inception at the end of 1995.

The New URL is www.web-nat.com/bic/

I receive regular birding reports from all over Canada. There are many topics covered, and the information is current and updated often. It has become a vast source of information for birders in Canada and globally. Thank you all for your support!

These are separate networks of birding web sites, but are very closely integrated with cross links and shared pages.

Many birdwatchers have recently taken up butterfly watching as an extension of birdwatching. I personally have bitten by the bug as well! I have come up with a website called Butterfly Watching in Ontario, designed to help butterfly watchers in Ontario.

The URL is www.web-nat.com/Butterfly/

As an extension of birds and butterflies, many birdwatchers are also amature or professional naturalists. While out enjoying the fresh air, it is an easy transition to get interested in all aspects of nature. I have recently built up my Ontario Nature Page web site. Professional illustrator David Wysotski currently contributes to the site, and input from other professionals are in the planning and development stages.

The URL is www.web-nat.com/Nature
