Italian Liga for Birds Protection (LIPU)

Birds living on the Massaciuccoli's Lake (Lago di Massaciuccoli) near Pisa, Italy.
The site is in italian only, but it will be translated in english before feb 97.

    Usenet newsgroups

    Usenet, a virtual noticeboard with thousands of topics, includes the newsgroup rec.birds about birdwatching and the similar uk.rec.birdwatching.

    Other natural history newsgroups include: rec.animals.wildlife and sci.bio.ecology. Caged bird related postings should be directed to rec.pets.birds.

    Further useful newsgroups include: rec.photo.technique.nature, rec.travel.africa, rec.travel.asia and rec.travel.latin-america.

    Newsgroups often contain a regularly posted 'frequently asked questions' document. A rec.birds FAQ is available as well as an optics for birding FAQ on the choice of binoculars and telescopes for birding.
