The site is in italian only, but it will be translated in english before feb 97.Links to the homepage of "Oasi Birdwatching di Massaciuccoli" and "Oasi Lago di Santa Luce".

Other natural history newsgroups include: rec.animals.wildlife and sci.bio.ecology. Caged bird related postings should be directed to rec.pets.birds.

Newsgroups often contain a regularly posted 'frequently asked questions' document. A rec.birds FAQ is available as well as an optics for birding FAQ on the choice of binoculars and telescopes for birding.
