Hi Gord: The following warblers were passing through London via the Thames River (at Gibbons Park) yesterday - black-throated blue, black-throated green, Nashville, blackburnian, and yellow. Also, rose-breasted grosbeaks and orioles. CMP cpearce@uwo.ca
Hi Gord: Similar bird species in Gibbons Park (at Grosvenor Street) today (May 7/03) but add yellow-rumped warbler, yellow warbler, and least flycatcher.

Hi Gord: Things are picking up a bit in Gibbons Park in London, even with the sewer construction at the head of Grosvenor Street: lots of ruby-crowned kinglets, several white-crowned and white-throated sparrows, pair Nashville warblers, several black and white warblers, 1 black-throated green warbler, 1 chestnut-sided warbler, several red-bellied woodpeckers, several warbling vireos. Similar composition at Komoka Park with an added bluebird pair.

Hi Gord. During the annual woodcock walk of the McIlwraith Field Naturalists along the Thames starting at the east end of Windermere Road, the following species were noted: yellow-rumped warbler, field and white-throated sparrow, belted kingfisher, brown thrasher, sharp-shinned and red tail hawks, and three American woodcocks performing despite a little bit of rain.
