Hi Gord. Birding in the rain this morning (May 1). Beyond the normal things, all around the roadsides between Almonte and Dwyer hill Road. on the side roads south of old highway 44:: A flock of about 15 bohemian waxwings perched in a tree. A single vesper sparrow. Lots of white throat and chipping sparrows. 2 white crowned sparrows. Male and female cardinal. Dark-eyed Junkos still present although numbers appear to be down from a month ago. Many tree swallows.
