Please Excuse my spelling ,I am Dyslexic thank you for your understanding. With most of the birds flying south of the Hawk watch to day a hardy bunch of us drove south ( not far ) to the corner of Kemp rd and Alan Rd and finally I had a good spring day of hawking ( but still not at Beamer ) From 11:30 am to 3:00 pm my count was as follows Sharp shin hawk 129 , N Hearer 14 , Broad-winged hawk 292 , Red tailed hawk 29 , Turkey Vulture 43 , Osprey 1 , Coopers hawk 5 , A Kestrel 6 , Bald Eagle 1 Juv at 2:50. Beamer Hawk watch is found by exiting the QEW at # 71 and following hiway 12 through Grimsby up the hill and turn right on to #79 watch for the sing on the right for the park Craig.S.A.McLauchlan Toronto/Ont/Canada/World. csam@sympatico.ca
